H305 in the 24 official EU languages
H305 is not part of EU CLP, so it has no official EU wording
The 24 language versions print what the regulation itself contains, and H305 is a UN GHS code the European Union has not adopted. CLP Annex III therefore carries no wording for it in any language, English included — the English sentence above is the UN model text. A supplier placing a product on the EU market uses the CLP codes; H305 belongs to jurisdictions that follow the UN text more closely.
03 · Legal status
Where H305 is current
GHS is a United Nations model text, revised every two years, and each jurisdiction adopts a revision on its own timetable. A code can be legally current in one system and deleted in another — that is normal, not an error.
